Ms. Medina started her legal career as a trial attorney representing tenants at Eviction Defense Network and Public Counsel. She defended tenants throughout Los Angeles County, helping resolve case
Claudia Medina is the founder, and managing attorney of Medina Law Firm, Inc. Ms. Medina has over 15 years of experience representing tenants. Ms. Medina started her legal career as a trial attorney representing tenants at Eviction Defense Network and Public Counsel. She defended tenants throughout Los Angeles County, helping resolve cases in tenants' favor through litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
After defending tenants in eviction trials and appeals for several years, Ms. Medina switched from being on the defense to helping tenants go on the offense by suing landlords for violating their tenants' rights. Ms. Medina now files lawsuits against landlords that fail to repair and maintain their apartments, cause personal injuries, or harass and discriminate against their tenants to force them out of their rent-stabilized (rent-controlled) apartments.
Ms. Medina is a graduate of UC Berkley School of Law. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Occidental College.
Ms. Medina is fluent in English and Spanish.

Zurit Barajas represents clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal court, including pre-suit case evaluation, motion practice, trial preparation, appeals and post-judgment collection activity. She is an experienced litigator and handles lawsuits involving tenant rights, personal injury, restraining order and evictions. Ms.
Zurit Barajas represents clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal court, including pre-suit case evaluation, motion practice, trial preparation, appeals and post-judgment collection activity. She is an experienced litigator and handles lawsuits involving tenant rights, personal injury, restraining order and evictions. Ms. Barajas’ prior litigation experience includes transportation liability, product liability, breach of contract, bankruptcy, and fraud.
Ms. Barajas is a Southwestern Law School graduate. While in law school, Ms. Barajas was the Managing Editor of the Journal of International Law, Vice President of The Women’s Lawyer Association, and was a VITA Tax Preparer. Ms. Barajas completed undergraduate education at UCLA. She is fluent in English and Spanish. During her free time, Zurit enjoys hiking, reading, dancing, and cooking.
